A. What's New in Rocky Point?!

Mornings are turning a bit chilly here in Rocky Point, but still very beautiful during the day. We think it's a great time to visit because the weather's still relatively nice, but the crowds are elsewhere! Here are some Rocky Point updates for you:

First Cruise Postponed What do locals say about the first cruise sailing from Rocky Point? We'll believe it when we see it!!! Well we do believe it will happen, but Maritime Voyages has apparently postponed their first sailing until January. Fingers crossed!
CitiCinema is a brand new movie theater near Sam's Club that plays new movies, in English!
Encantame Towers, a very exciting resort project continues to move forward. This particular developer has a proven track record with resorts here in Rocky Point. Encantame Towers will be located on the pristine beaches of Playa Encanto with too many amenities to list. They also offer financing with only 20% down! If you think Playa Encanto is too far out of town ... don't! From Phoenix/Tucson, it takes the same time to drive there as it does to Sandy Beach due to a lovely bypass highway.

C. Market Analysis

October was a slow month as usual - nothing much to report there.

As for year-to-date, there's a definite trend towards increasing inventory. That means we're in a Buyer's market. There's plenty of property for sale in Rocky Point, so it's a great time to find the house or condo you've always dreamed of and negotiate! Las Conchas and Sandy Beach are the hot areas as they're enjoying higher average sales prices this year over last. Playa Encanto is experiencing a little dip, but that may change with the delivery of Encantame Towers coming in December 2020.
